Photographing the landscape of Ueumdo left me with memories and impressions that stayed long after I had left. The reeds swaying in the wind, the trees that had quietly stood there for years, and the stillness of the landscape lingered beyond the photographs themselves.
As I reflected on the atmosphere and quiet passage of time I experienced in Ueumdo, I began creating these scented sachets. They hold a desire to remember the disappearing landscape and the time when people and nature once existed in harmony.
